Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life. EVER. Period. It is easy to get immersed in the beautiful, whimsical weddings of Pinterest and surely every girl dreams of a Pinterest-perfect wedding. But we are here to tell you that there is more than one formula you can use to get there.
It is important that your wedding day is YOU--that you look back at your pictures in 20 years and think, "Man, I'm so glad that my bride's wedding dress spoke to her spunky personality!" or, "I'm so glad that I had a donut cake instead of the traditional boring cake."
One aspect of a wedding that can easily be overlooked is the groom and his groomsmen! Their clothes, accessories, and personality matter! Haberdash all started at a wedding... when a groom spoke his mind to his lovely bride-to-be and asked to wear a pink suit and to make a wooden tie for himself and wooden bow ties for his groomsmen. They reflected his personality perfectly because he loved working with wood and unique fashion! They were different than the standard Pinterest wedding, but they were a wonderful detail that will be remembered forever.
With all that being said, make sure that every detail of YOUR wedding speaks to you and makes you swoon. Because its YOUR day. Not your mom's. Not your best friend's. Not your sister's who ran off to Vegas to get married.
